Imagine a serene evening spent along the Arabian sea watching the ships passing by and listening to the humming of the birds – well that’s the description of an evening at Chowpatty beach on Marine Drive.

You'll find a colourful beach that's filled with people to enjoy the evening’s gentle wind and the sunset.

You will have an insight at the local street food. Stalls down the beach sell sugar-loaded kulfi (Indian ice cream) and Mumbai's very famous bhelpuri (a tangy combination of puffed rice, peanuts, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, raw mangoes, mint, coriander chutney and chillies).

If you were to take a stroll along Mumbai’s picturesque Chowpatty sea face, you could not miss the impressive Gothic structure that houses Mumbai’ oldest college popularly known as Wilson College which was founded in the year 1832.

After a nice relaxing hour at the beach, you can visit a nearby temple to watch the ritual evening prayers and feel the spiritual vibes in the ambience.

To pamper your taste buds, you can go to a restaurant near by that serves some great Indian delicacies in town.
