January - February
During this period there are various festivals like The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, The Banganga Music Festival, The Elephanta Dance and Music Festival, Makar Sankranti Festival(The day on which the sun begins its journey northwards is referred  as Makara Sankranti, people fly kites and have sesame seeds sweets)and Shiv Ratri (The Auspicious night of Lord Shiva) Celebrations.

March - April
This period one can experience and enjoy Holi – Festival of Colours, Ram Navami,(The Birthday of Lord Rama) Gudi Padva (The holy new year for Maharashtrians)and Mahavir Jayanti. (The birthday of Lord Mahavira- a god in Jainism)

May – June - July
