Flower Market
Time Duration : 3 hours.

Flowers! That’s one word which after hearing, your eyes tend to get brighter and your nose starts smelling the fragrances of various beautiful flowers, the priceless gift the nature has given to mankind.

Mumbai is famed for its colourful street bazaars and the eclectic mélange of items sold on its streets. Specialized markets, where similar shops cluster together, are common. The Flower Market in Mumbai is one such roadside shopping destination.

Flowers form an important part of the Indian culture; they are almost a necessity for many Mumbaikar’s.
The day begins early  for these flower entrepreneurs. The first customers start coming in at 5 am. Almost 70 per cent of the business is done before 10am. Customers continue to trickle in till about 8 pm, when the shutters go down and preparation for the next day begins.

Festivals are a cause for much celebration in the flower market. With the advent of the festive season, business blossoms like never before. Sales increase by almost 200%. The Diwali and the Ganesha festival period is peak time for them.

Any day of the week in mornings begins at 6.30 am.  Group sizes may vary from 2 & more people. After the tour gets over, you would be taken to a beautiful Hindu temple to see the auspicious morning prayers followed by a delicious Indian breakfast.
The prices are based on the number of people taking the tour and the duration of the tour.
