Mumbai Special!! As the name suggests, be prepared for a tour that offers you loads of fun, frolic and excitement.

You are going to travel in various modes of  transports which are said to be the lifeline of Mumbai, and they are none other than the government run local buses and the suburban trains.

You will also get a ride in the very famous black and yellow taxis, which have been an integral part of the Mumbai city since 1911.

The tour starts at the Gateway of India and covers all the must-see places in Bombay. It includes the following:


A walking exploration of the British Heritage District (30 minutes). Covers Gateway of India, Regal Circle, Prince of Wales Museum, Kala Ghoda, Bombay University, High Court, Oval Maidan and the Churchgate Area.

A bus ride from Churchgate to Mani Bhavan, Gandhi's home and a museum now in Mumbai. The bus goes via Marine Drive also known as the queen’s necklace and the Chowpatty beach, with a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea.

A short stop for refreshments at a very famous restaurant, to taste some most amazing Mumbai’s mouth watering delicacies.

A walk through the Bhaji Galli which is also known as the vegetable market  to see a noisy and a high voltage local bazaar(Market).

A train ride to see the Dhobi Ghat (the city's unique open air laundry system, since the British rule).


The tour ends with a taxi ride to Victoria Terminus (VT) train station now known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus, to see the Mumbai’s famous historic and a heritage railway station. At VT, our guide will help you to find transport to your hotel or to the airport.

The sole reason behind the tour is, for you to experience the city the way mumbaikars (people staying in Mumbai) do, to see Mumbai from an insider’s perspective. However, for your convenience we’ve picked off-peak hours for the train ride, and will travel in the opposite direction to avoid city’s mad rush-hour traffic.
Any day of the week, either in the morning at 10:00 or in the afternoon at 2:00pm. It Starts from the Gateway of India, and runs for about 4 hours. Sizes may vary from 2 or more people.
